DODGEBALL FEDERATION OF INDIA
Dodgeball Federation of India is a National Body of the Dodgeball game in the Country.  body is duly registered with the Government. The DBFI held its First National Championship from 5th

to 8th August 2005 at Chandigarh in which 14 States of the country participated in both the categories
i.e. Men and Women. The Founder of Dodgeball Game in India is P. S. Brar. He formed the
Dodgeball Federation of India and started the game in the country.
Till that date the Federation is conducting Three National level Tournaments in the various
parts of the country in different age groups i.e. Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior for both sexes. This
game is very much popular in the country and widely played in form of state championships and
further at District level championships.
The results of its popularity enables the game to get recognition of the School Games
Federation of India and in the year of 2008 and this game was included in the calendar of SGFI
also. The SGFI is also conducting this game at State level and also at National level every year
The Federation conducted international friendship matches with Nepal and also Bhutan.
The Indian teams got the honour to participate in the Asian Dodgeball Championships held at
Kuala Lumpur in the year of 2017 in Men, Women and Mix groups.
